Service Ministries
Discover the heart of our Service Ministries—serving others during Mass and sharing the joy of God's Word.
- Liturgy Committee Our Liturgy Committee orchestrates meaningful and engaging liturgical experiences that draw our parishioners into the sacraments we celebrate, enriching their spiritual journey.
- Extraordinary Ministers Our Extraordinary Ministers undertake the sacred responsibility of distributing the Eucharist to members of our faith community as part of the Visitation Ministry. We provide thorough training to ensure this duty is carried out with reverence and care so that all can partake in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
- Altar Servers (Youth and Adult) Boys and girls aged 10 and above play an essential role in assisting the priest and deacon during liturgical celebrations, ensuring a meaningful experience for all attendees. Additionally, adults serve at the altar during daily and weekend Masses as well as funerals, offering their assistance to uphold the sacredness of the occasion. Training is provided for both youth and adults.
- Lectors Lectors hold the important task of proclaiming God’s Word to the entire congregation during Mass, ensuring that the message is conveyed with clarity and reverence. Training is provided to equip individuals with the necessary skills for this ministry.
- Sacristans Sacristans play a vital role in preparing the altar and gifts before all Masses, ensuring that everything is in place for a seamless and reverent liturgical celebration. They also ensure the presence of all necessary ministers. Training is provided to enable sacristans to carry out their duties effectively.

The Anawim Community strives “to reflect the spirit of the poor of God, living in total dependence upon him through situations the world considers impossible.” The Anawim spirituality is embraced by those who seek to make their Catholicism relevant in their everyday lives, by “putting flesh” on the word of God in the daily liturgy. We are challenged to embrace the role of Mary at the foot of the Cross in openness and humility.
Our primary work is helping people to respond to the universal call to holiness as Vatican II stated (cf. LG 40). This is done through the formation of lay persons – both single and married – and priests, helping them to experience the interior life of a contemplative while living and working in the world. Through personal and communal prayer and through study, we foster a deeper spiritual life.
